Our Dedicated Leaders

The leadership team at Promise Land Ministries is made up entirely of volunteers who have been called to serve men suffering from addiction through the grace and healing power of Jesus Christ.

Bill Manning
President and Executive Director

After a 30 year career in broadcast television, Bill came to Promise Land Ministries after volunteering with Kairos, an international prison ministry. During this time he met an inmate at Walker State Prison who had been a resident at the ministry. Shortly after the death of his father and wife in 2013, Bill came to Promise Land as a resident and during this time realized God had called him here to lead the ministry into the future. Bill brings all of his creative and leadership skills as well as his management and business experience to the ministry. Bill is an ordained minister and also plays the guitar player on the Praise Team.

Randall ‘Pops’ Aiken
Operations Manager

Pops arrived at Promise Land in 2009 and never left. He handles all of the day-to-day operations including scheduling the work assignments. Pops has substantial experience in the building trade and is a fine carpenter. He also is the singing voice of our praise team. Pops has five children, and 7 grandchildren and is from Dallas Georgia.

Randall Willoughby
Kitchen Manager

Randall has been a friend of this ministry since 2004. He returned after a six-year absence in 2014 with a strong desire to serve his brothers in Christ. Seeing a need in the kitchen, Randall stepped in and vastly improved both the quality of the meals and the efficiency of the kitchen operation. Randall has two grown children and is from Smyrna Georgia.

Harold Haynes
Spiritual Education

Harold was one of the original residents at Promise Land arriving here in 2001. His extensive Biblical knowledge and understanding of our Faith help guide our residents through the spiritual awakening which is necessary in the recovery process. Harold is involved with the ministry’s intense study of the Bible and can be found behind the pulpit at many of our church services. He is originally from Chattanooga but now calls Ellijay and Promise Land Ministries his home.
